    300 Protesters March Demanding an End to the Occupation

    Combatants for Peace Movement in collaboration with a number of Israeli and Palestinian NGO’s organized on Friday November 27, 2015 a nonviolent protest against occupation and violence. At least 300 protesters joined the march on Friday.
    The march started from the Batteer village roundabout adjacent to road 60 at midday and ended at the tunnel checkpoint. Israeli troops stopped the protest from reaching the checkpoint.
    CFP’s Ahmad Al Hilo delivered the movement speech. He said “ our partners and friends, fighters for peace, we welcome you at this place and say in one voice that we demands an end to the occupation and will continue our nonviolent struggle against it. We came here regardless of the checkpoints to refuse violence in all of its forms and stand against the settlers’ violence against the Palestinian people that are only creating more hatred between the two nations.”
    He added” we struggle here together, Palestinians and Israelis who want to live in peace side by side, we say in one voice enough occupation and settlements, let work togather for a better future.”

    Al Hilo concluded” we say to the Israeli people that the occupation and settlements they are the source of violence, fear and lack of security. There is no military solution, the last day of occupation is the first day of peace.
